An Evening of Prosthetics (Ft Wayne)
Our bi-annual Prosthetics Gait Training Course for therapists has ALL NEW CONTENT!! We've also listened to your suggestions and are presenting this course in the evening to better accommodate your schedule!
Join us at Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities 3320 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805 on October 17th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
Physical therapists, Occupational Therapists, and PTAs will have an opportunity to get an in depth look at immediate prosthetic care of a new amputee. What makes our course so unique is that it is not a "walking clinic" for patients. Our course is geared specifically towards the therapists and their process for successful amputee rehabilitation.
Our engaging speaker, Brad Shebib, who has his degree in physical therapy and is also a certified prosthetist, will walk you through the initial rehabilitation of a new amputee, all the way to the the learning phase of receiving their initial temporary prosthesis.
Here are a few highlights:
- 4 FREE CEUs approved by APTA
